In 1963, Jack Gorman started a small forklift repair company called United Lift Truck. He was dedicated to offering his customers high quality service. Later, United Lift Truck added a rental fleet, outside service vehicles and delivery trucks to better serve this growing customer base.

Recognized as a premier service organization, this family owned Forklift Company continued it's total commitment to offer customers the highest level of service and become Hyster's exclusive dealer in 1990 for the Chicago metro area and northwest Indiana.

To date, United Lift Truck has grown to a full Hyster brand dealership offering sales, service, parts, and rentals for the industry-leading manufacturer. From 1990 to present, we have been serving the Chicago and Northwest Indiana areas through our two primary locations: Bellwood, Illinois and Lansing, Illinois.
